Chosen

So after some heavy debating I choose picture 1.

Now I have the picture chosen I have to grid it.
This caused some problems, since Mr.Roman (my art teacher) had said that the drawing would need 1cm squares and the full size had to be 4cm squares.

The full A3 page had 11 boxes up and 7&a half width.
My problem: The picture with 1cm squares had 22 boxes and 16 width.
After a little discussion with my teacher he agreed to let me draw 2cm square boxes on the picture.
In the fashion the whole picture fit on my A3 sheet of paper.

After the grids I started drawing the outline, which was one of the things I feared. You see I'm pretty bad with simple lines, shadowing stuff, I'll be fine but lines?

And that's all I manages to do this lesson, next time I'll start drawing more details and see if I can start shadowing.
